Facilities Technician – HVAC Filter & Duct Maintenance

Pay Rate:$16.00 – $18.00/hr (OT x1.5)

Bill Rate:$40.00/hr

Duration:120 Days (Contract-to-Hire)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining industrial HVAC systems across hospitals, universities, museums, commercial office spaces, and high-rise buildings in the Greater Philadelphia and Tri-State area. This role involves filter replacement, duct cleaning, and general HVAC maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Replace air filters and clean HVAC ductwork

+ Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials

+ Drive or ride in company vans to job sites

+ Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dispose of used filters

+ Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required

+ Work in teams of 2–3 under the supervision of a senior technician

Must-Have Qualifications:

+ Valid Driver’s License

+ Previous experience in facility maintenance or construction labor

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs daily

+ Comfortable climbing residential ladders using proper safety measures

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with electrical, mechanical, or sheet metal contractors

+ Customer service experience in residential/commercial settings

+ Willingness to travel overnight (company-paid)

+ OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred but not required)

Work Environment & Schedule:

+ Day and night shifts; weekend work and OT may be required (advance notice provided)

+ Travel and overnight stays may be necessary (schedule provided 1–2 weeks in advance)

+ PPE provided, including steel toe boots and masks

+ No certifications or medical exams required

Training & Onboarding:

+ Day 1: Safety and job-specific training

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
