Job Title: Warehouse Worker/Batch Maker
Job Description
The warehouse worker/production associate is responsible for preparing materials for production processing according to specifications and established procedures. This role involves obtaining materials from inventory, accurately weighing components using scales and other measuring devices, and driving PIT to assist in warehouse operations, packing, and shipping. The qualified candidate will mix, disperse, and convert raw materials into finished products.
Responsibilities
+ Safely pump, mix, and blend both dry and liquid chemicals as specified by batch tickets and manufacturing instructions.
+ Operate a variety of mixers, dispersers, and related chemical processing equipment safely.
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
+ Accurately follow batch formulations and record process information, such as lot numbers, temperature, mixing speed, and times.
+ Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, safety glasses, gloves, arm/sleeve protectors, and aprons as needed.
+ Use barcode scanners to accurately transfer raw materials electronically.
+ Coordinate tasks with other workers in the batch processing area.
+ Inspect tanks to ensure they are empty and suitable for use before adding materials.
+ Operate in a hot and dusty environment with physically demanding work.
+ Assist with warehouse duties such as packing, inventory, and shipping.
+ Assist in other areas of the plant as needed.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in a warehouse environment.
+ Proficiency in operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
+ Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, over 50 lbs.
+ Experience in order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
+ Capability to unload trucks and handle materials efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in warehouse inventory management.
+ Ability to work in warehouse distribution and production operations.
+ Skills in inspection, stacking, and palletizing.
Work Environment
The position is based in a 30,000 square foot warehouse facility located in Albuquerque, NM. This facility can manufacture 130,000 pounds of finished products per shift and also houses an R&D lab, product testing department, and quality control operations. The work environment is hot and dusty, requiring physical endurance. The shift operates Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM.

This position is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
