Job Title: Shipping Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Associate to manage our incoming and outgoing merchandise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient operation of our shipping systems.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and process shipments accurately and efficiently.

+ Maintain precise and up-to-date shipping records.

+ Ensure smooth operation of shipping systems.

+ Handle materials and conduct inventory cycle counts.

+ Utilize shipping tools such as FedEx and UPS Ship Manager.

+ Operate warehouse machinery including forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Load shipments and manage shipping of hazardous materials.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in shipping and receiving processes.

+ Experience with packaging and material handling.

+ Ability to perform inventory and cycle counts.

+ Familiarity with FedEx, UPS Ship Manager, and MRP systems.

+ Skill in operating forklifts and warehouse machinery.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

+ Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.

+ Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The role involves physical handling of packages and moving products for up to 10 hours a day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ewing, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
