    Job Skills / Requirements

    You will:

    Receive excellent hands-on training with our National Certified Training Instructors to include Defensive Tactics, OC Foam, Use of Restraints, AVADE, Taser and Firearms. This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking for stability and experience.

    Responsibilities:

    - Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle

     

    - Already have or be able to obtain and maintain a WA State Armed Security Certification within 90 days

     

    - Maintain all Licenses, Certifications, and Equipment

     

    - Carry a Firearms when on shift after training and Certification

     

    - Maintain site security and watching for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards

     

    - Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits

     

    - Create and issue Employee and Guest Badges

     

    - Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities

     

    - Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

     

    - Assist first responders when appropriate

     

    - Additional duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN TUMWATER

    - Must already have or be eligible/willing to obtain an WA State Armed Security License within 90 days

     

    - Must already have or be eligible/willing to obtain an WA Concealed Carry Permit

     

    - Must have an acceptable driving Record

     

    - Must have 2 years of Prior Security, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Fire, EMS, or Relevant College Degree in the field to be eligible

     

    - Must pass a background Certification

     

    - Genuine desire and interest in the security industry

     

    - Ability to stand 100% of shift and physically restrain others

     

    - Reliable transportation

     

    - Basic computer skills to include word and outlook

     

    - Great communication/writing skills

    - - MUST BE ABLE TO MEET STATE LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

    - Flexible working schedule to include weekends

     

    - 21 years of age and older

    - DRIVERS LICENSE

    - Pass pre-employment drug testing

     

    - Starting Wage $24 based on experience and potential.

     

    Education Requirements (Any)

     

    High School Diploma GED

     

    Certification Requirements (Any)

     

    Valid State Drivers License

     

    This job reports to the Uniform Security Manager

     

    This is a Full-Time position based on client needs.

     

    Relocation is not provided and travel is required occasionally
