    The Quality Lab Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of samples and materials within the laboratory setting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art equipment, contributing to the growth of a leading cosmetic manufacturer.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in sample processing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Issue and apply release stickers on approved raw materials and bulk products.

    + Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and perform routine equipment maintenance.

    + Maintain inventory and ensure proper levels of department supplies.

    + Order, unpack, log, and store supplies.

    + Document laboratory information accurately and completely in a timely manner.

    + Log, label, and process specimens and paperwork for testing.

    + Perform housekeeping and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.

    + Ensure the laboratory area is neat, clean, and organized.

    + Maintain an awareness of cGMP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), good housekeeping, and safety in the laboratory.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in sample processing, pH meter usage, and viscometer operation.

    + Knowledge of GMP compliance and good laboratory practices.

    + Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.

    + Attention to detail and reliability.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + BA or BS Degree in Biological Science or Chemistry, or a combination of education and related experience.

    + High School Graduate or GED is required.

    + Experience in a laboratory or work in the cosmetology industry is preferred.

    + Ability to work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.

    + Understanding of verbal and written directions.

    Work Environment

    The position requires working in both lab and production environments. Shift starts between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, providing flexibility in work hours. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, offering a modern and innovative work setting.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
