    Job Title: Quality Technician

    Job Description

    This role is critical in maintaining the quality and integrity of solid insulating products by performing testing, inspection, and documentation activities to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have an engineering experience and a strong interest or experience in materials or chemical testing.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process intermediates, finished goods, and developmental materials to ensure compliance with specifications.

    + Conduct physical, chemical, and performance-based testing.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Departments.

    + Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.

    + Document and report test results accurately in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards.

    + Assist with equipment maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to ensure accurate testing.

    + Communicate results with production, R&D, and engineering as necessary to support quality and process control.

    + Experience in quality, manufacturing, or lab environment preferred

    + Familiarity with chemical/materials testing and basic lab procedures

    + Proficiency in spreadsheets, document control systems and computer usage to locate documents, records and procedures

    + Experience with quality data systems is a plus

    + Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills

    + Effective verbal and written communication

    + Ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams

    Work Environment

    Work is performed in both laboratory and manufacturing settings. Business casual dress code is expected, with working hours from 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
