    Job Title: User Study Coordinator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive User Study Coordinator to support the execution of user research for consumer electronic devices. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics of user studies, from setup and participant coordination to data verification and submission. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with cross-functional teams, and passionate about delivering high-quality research data.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and inventory data collection kit materials from vendors.

    + Assemble data collection kits and ensure all hardware and software components are functional.

    + Set up and maintain the User Study Lab environment to meet study requirements.

    + Conduct data collection sessions, ensuring adherence to study protocols.

    + Coordinate with legal, security, and compliance teams to secure necessary approvals.

    + Recruit, screen, and schedule participants for user studies.

    + Verify the completeness and accuracy of collected data.

    + Upload and document data in designated tools or repositories according to project requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Troubleshooting and equipment operation skills.

    + Experience with data collection and lab environments.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Competence with basic computer skills such as spreadsheets, word processing, and basic script execution.

    + Hands-on experience setting up computer hardware, including WiFi networking and Bluetooth.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 1–3 years of experience in user research, usability testing, or lab coordination.

    + Experience working with cross-functional teams including legal and security.

    + Experience with consumer electronics or hardware testing environments.

    + Knowledge of research ethics and participant privacy standards.

    + Proficiency in documentation and data management tools.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working onsite in user study labs in Sunnyvale, CA, supporting new devices being tested and developed. The work environment is collaborative, requiring interaction with various teams to ensure study success.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
