Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description

Join a dynamic and growing manufacturing facility dedicated to producing high-quality aircraft and space engine components. Our team is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our production processes and play a critical role in process improvement and quality management.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop corrective action plans for customer non-conformances.

+ Conduct process reviews on the production floor to ensure accurate and correct manufacturing practices.

+ Create and implement new process plans and quality plans for manufacturing new parts.

+ Develop work instructions and standards to maintain specifications.

+ Work extensively within the GE customer portal (Score) for submissions, corrective actions, and non-conformances.

+ Spend approximately 65% of time performing desk work in the quality office and 35% on the production/manufacturing floor.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mathematics.

+ 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a production/manufacturing environment.

+ Experience with process reviews and implementations.

+ Knowledge of AS9100 certification.

+ Familiarity with AS9145 elements (Aerospace APQP/PPAP process).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience working within the GE supplier system (Score).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86/hr.
