The Engineering Technician will perform complex equipment calibrations using approved procedures and standards. This role involves documenting relevant calibration data and reviewing calibration certificates for accuracy and compliance. The technician will oversee contract calibration providers, ensuring proper execution of tasks and adherence to established procedures. The position requires analyzing and approving calibration certificates based on data accuracy and specifications, as well as reviewing and approving calibration procedures to maintain high standards in equipment precision and reliability. The Engineering Technician will assist in developing and implementing validated technical software applications that enhance productivity and calibration operations. Additionally, the technician will identify and implement process improvements to streamline calibration operations and lead the upgrade of current calibration management systems, serving as a liaison to software quality teams. Contributions to discussions on instrument and equipment calibration principles, collaboration with professionals in electronics, mechanical, production, quality, and biomedical disciplines, and providing design recommendations and participation in product development and testing to ensure calibration requirements are met are integral parts of the role. The Engineering Technician will also offer guidance, training, and development support to junior technicians, represent the company in technical discussions with customers, consultants, and regulatory agencies, follow standard operating procedures, complete necessary health, safety, and environmental training, communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management, ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures, uphold quality standards and regulatory requirements in applicable markets, and perform additional duties as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Perform complex equipment calibrations using approved procedures and standards.

Work Environment
The work environment is onsite on the production floor of a large medical device manufacturing facility. This opportunity allows you to join a rapidly growing Medical Device group, with new business lines being purchased and production increasing every day.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
