    Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a focus on hands-on electrical engineering, project management, and customer interaction. The role involves the design and development of aerospace embedded products, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, power supplies, protection circuits, output drivers, and sensor signal circuitry.

    Responsibilities

    + Design electronics for aerospace embedded products, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensor signal circuitry.

    + Create schematics and circuit designs for control subsystems such as BLDC motors and actuators.

    + Analyze customer requirements to determine systems and hardware specifications and design accordingly.

    + Prepare design documentation, project schedules, and test reports to monitor progress and performance.

    + Design for rugged environments, considering factors like extended temperatures, EMC, ESD, and vibration.

    + Select components, perform derating, and detailed design for high reliability in severe environments.

    + Develop test software to validate hardware design and support custom test equipment for design verification, qualification, and manufacturing.

    + Create detailed BOMs and assist in sourcing electronic components.

    + Troubleshoot electrical device issues to ensure efficient resolution.

    + Collaborate with PCB Layout Engineers to provide recommendations.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.

    + At least 15 years of experience in schematic design and creation.

    + Proficiency with PCB design packages such as Altium, Cadence, or Eagle.

    + Experience with CPU, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGA development in embedded design.

    + Custom power supply design expertise.

    + Ability to interface with sensors or motor/power outputs.

    + Strong skills in reading and interpreting schematics.

    + Capability to create technical proposals and presentations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is strongly desired.

    + Experience with BLDC motor or FADEC design.

    + Familiarity with regulated industries such as automotive, military, or industrial electronics.

    + Knowledge in FPGA and networking drivers.

    + Experience with high power systems.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position requires onsite work with the option for one day of remote work per week.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $72.12/hr.
