    Job Title: Electrical Designer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to provide expert technical guidance on cabling infrastructure and related systems. Your expertise in network, data, access, performance, scalability, security, reliability, and fault tolerance is highly desirable. You will possess comprehensive industry knowledge of current products, codes, and standards related to low voltage cabling as outlined in Division 27 and Division 28 Specification sections. Your role will involve staying current with telecommunications trends and understanding how they relate to your specific area of expertise and the larger telecommunications field.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate teams to achieve specific and quantifiable goals related to the deployment of technology.

    + Meet with clients and staff to discuss requirements for upgrades or replacements, driving necessary solutions.

    + Design cabling infrastructure systems and assist with technical language for RFP documents.

    + Provide quantifiable recommendations and price estimates.

    + Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the company.

    Essential Skills Needed

    + Proficiency in electrical design, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and low voltage systems.

    + Experience with drafting in AutoCAD and design.

    + Knowledge of low voltage, NICET, RCDD, and Smartsheet.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + LEA, RCDD, or NICET 2 or greater certifications are highly desirable.

    + Thorough knowledge of telecommunications practices and communications equipment, as well as industry standards and trends.

    + Ability to manage multiple timelines with in-depth knowledge of convergent technology relating to communications technologies and systems.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related products is desirable.

    + Experience with drawing markup using Bluebeam.

    Work Environment

    This is a fully remote opportunity with some site visits required - MUST BE LOCAL TO OREGON AREA. Employee benefits include 11 paid holidays, personal time off starting at three weeks annually, fully funded health & dental benefits for the employee, and a 401k plan with company match.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
