    It's an exciting time to join our team, **and we're hiring for a full-time Staff Accountant** at our New Richmond, WI location. This role is ideal for a well-rounded accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys a variety of responsibilities. **The hours for this position are during core business hours, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday.**

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Payroll (Lead):

    + Collect and track detailed time information

    + Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and on time

    + Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

    + Coordinate with HR on employee changes, benefits, and deductions

    + Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end filings (e.g., W-2s, 941s)

    + Prepare reports to support audits, projects and other ad-hoc requests

    Accounts Receivable (Lead):

    + Generate and issue customer invoices and statements

    + Monitor receivables, follow up on past-due accounts, and manage collections

    + Apply payments and reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger

    + Maintain accurate customer records and aging schedules

    General Ledger:

    + Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation

    + Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations

    + Support financial reporting and audit preparation

    Accounts Payable (Backup) :

    + Provide support for invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor communications

    + Step in during absences or high-volume periods to ensure timely AP operations

    Education and/or Experience:

    + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 3+ years of accounting experience with direct payroll and AR responsibilities

    + Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, NetSuite)

    + Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

    + Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    + Experience in ERP systems and automated payroll platforms

    + Knowledge of GAAP and payroll compliance regulations

    + Prior experience in a cross-functional accounting role
