Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 4 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, project management, finance, sales operations/Go-To-Market (GTM) or management consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience using data to analyze business problems and to spotlight risks and compliance gaps, process improvement/six sigma, and automating business processes.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, including experience interacting with executives on a regular basis.
+ Understanding of partner management, information technology, procure-to-pay, and finance operations.
+ Strong project management and stakeholder management skills in leading cross-functional teams and interfacing with senior leadership.
Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. You'll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of Google’s most dynamic product areas - the Android Ecosystem (including Google Play, ChromOS and Workspace for Education) through which users experience Google. You are part of the P&D Platforms Deal Governance team responsible for working with Partnerships and cross-functional teams (FP&A, Legal, gTech, Marketing, etc.) to partner in the review and monitoring of our highest risk commercial deals with OEMs, carriers, developers, and other partners to bring the best of Google to the world.
You will be part of the larger Platforms Controllership team dedicated to manage financial risks across systems, data, compliance, product launches, finance operations, accounting and reporting. We partner closely with the business to drive finance alignment and support for these dynamic and growing businesses.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Engage and collaborate closely with Partnerships, Product, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate governance and compliance for commercial deal-making.
+ Establish, update, and implement processes, policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risk for Google.
+ Provide deal governance guidance, training, and advice to sales, finance, and other cross-functional teams on new deals, feature launches, contracting, and the full deal lifecycle from ideation to metric tracking.
+ Manage and mitigate risks and the strategic and operational implications associated with commercial agreements.
+ Lead and support business initiatives to help scale, automate, and bring insights to partnership deals and spend processes, spotlight risks, and improve controls.
