We are currently seeking a*Staff Nurse*to join our Internal medicine Clinic in downtown Minneapolis, MN.

This position is a full-time day shift position (10 shifts per pay period) working Monday-Friday.

This is grant funded position will work to create a process to manage pap results centrally. The grant will support one RN (1.0 FTE) for two years.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

* Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health

* Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care

* Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response

* Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others

* Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care

* Educating patient on their disease process

* Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being
