Job Title: Procurement Team Lead (Senior - Principal Level)

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage and maintain the procurement ticketing system for faculty and department procurement and reimbursement. Consistently update and improve the tracking systems.
+ Develop and deliver training and process materials for faculty and staff on procurement rules and responsibilities.
+ Oversee and train departmental Approving Official for those with procurement and travel cards
+ Process tickets submitted to the Procurement Team
+ Work with DOP Finance team to ensure appropriate balances for all faculty professional development funds and other special funding sources.
+ Responsible for liaising with appropriate CU and CU Medicine procurement approvers to assist units as needed with travel, general requests, contracts, and Marketplace procurement.
+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level
+ A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
+ A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
+ Two (2) years of professional level experience in a lead or senior support position
Principal Level
+ A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
+ A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
+ Three (3) years of extensive diverse and progressively responsible experience, including direct responsibility for the leadership and development of department level processes
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in CU Systems including EMS, Concur, Marketplace, HCM, Smartsheet, etc.
+ Experience with contract negotiations.
+ Project management certification or training.
+ Experience delivering effective communications, both in writing and orally.
+ Proven successful customer service.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Attention to detail, organized
+ Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
+ A demonstrated ability to organize and complete complex projects and to work under tight deadlines.
+ Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, handling a fast-paced environment.
