Summary of Position
This position is responsible for assisting in the review of student records to ensure program requirements have been completed and review records for near completers reaching out to the students to keep them on track to graduate; and verifying all transfer and evaluated credits have been accurately entered. Coordinate outreach efforts with Academic Advising and other faculty and staff as needed. Must be able to communicate CTC policies, graduation requirements to site personnel, staff and students worldwide. Serve as backup to Graduation Coordinator.
Minimum Required Education
Associates degree with four years primary work experience at the college level in academic advising, graduation, registration, financial aid/VA educational benefits, military and other nontraditional learning evaluations, transcript course articulations, or closely related administrative higher education experience OR Bachelor’s degree with two years’ work experience in academic advising, graduation, registration, financial aid/VA educational benefits, military and other nontraditional learning evaluations, transcript course articulations or closely related administrative higher education experience.
Minimum Required Experience
Refer to experience required based on education level. Prefer experience working in a multi-campus college environment with traditional and nontraditional students to include distance learners, veterans, and service members. Prefer experience with Colleague Student Information System and Informer.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Proficiency with MS Office software including MS Word, Excel, and Access
+ Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to articulate transfer credits and institutional and ACE guide recommendations for evaluation of military credit and experience
+ Excellent organization skills and attention to detail and have a high degree of accuracy
Salary 1K Pay Category/Per salaried Pay scale
Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - M-TH 7:30am-5:30pm; Fri 7:30am-11:30am
