Job Summary:
Responsible for crafting comprehensive and compelling proposals (RFP, RFQ, RFI) that meet the specific requirements of our material product, device and purchased service business needs. Carefully review business requirements to understand the client's needs, identify key requirements, and formulate effective strategies. Works closely with various internal teams, such as project teams, and other cross-functional departments, executive leaders on potentially confidential projects to gather necessary information and support for the proposals. Oversees the entire proposal development process, from initial analysis to final submission ensuring that all proposals meet the requirements of the organization and adhere to any relevant regulations or guidelines. Able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Select contracts may be assigned, requiring creation, renewal or updating.
Position Responsibilities:
Preparation and Submission
Responsible for writing clear, concise, and persuasive proposals. Ensure that all proposals are accurate and complete, adhering to all the solicitation guidelines and submission requirements.
Understands proposal requirements and identifies and resolves concerns that arise during the proposal development process.

Communication and Collaboration
Liaise with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary information for proposal and ensure business needs are met.
Maintain strong and effective communication with key internal stakeholders and members of the Supply Chain Departments to obtain necessary information.
Define optimal submission requirements based on key stakeholder guidelines.
Solicitation management and Improvement
Manage the proposal process to ensure continuity, timeliness and accuracy using available systems and resources, using the systems available to manage the process and mine the data to craft the solicitations..
Maintain database of multiple proposals ensuring timelines and of all requirements are met.
Manage Sourcing and Contracts
Manages and negotiates contracts to ensure competitive pricing, price protection, and service levels. Ensure that appropriat6e authorization, routing of contracts, distribution and document management occurs. Ensure all configuration changes pertaining to new or amended contracts are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.
Organize and store all proposal related documents including final submissions.
Build vendor profiles to aid in vendor selection.
Position Qualifications Required:
Required Experience:
5 years of progressively responsible experience in sourcing or procurement activities, would consider candidates with 2-3 years’ experience and a bachelor’s degree.
Required Education:
High School diploma required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Annual Salary: $72,992 - $116,601
The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Virtua’s annual incentive compensation plan (AICP). The amount is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan document.
