Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with 15 years of experience in Department of Defense systems acquisition expertise focused on cross-functional systems engineering, program management, test and evaluation, contract execution, quality assurance and team leadership.

Requirements
+ 15 years of experience in Department of Defense systems acquisition expertise focused on cross-functional systems engineering, program management, test and evaluation, contract execution, quality assurance and team leadership.
Personnel Clearance Level:
+ Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
+ Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
+ Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Aeronautics or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (Not All-Inclusive):
+ Support PMA-290 Mission Systems Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Cybersecurity and Software Support Activity.
+ Lead P-8A Patrol Aircraft sensor production, upgrade, and sustainment efforts in support of PMA-290 Mission Systems.
+ Lead requirements analysis, contract activities, schedule development, and program execution efforts meeting 100% of Fleet expectations.
+ Develop technical capabilities roadmaps.
+ Lead a team of United States Government (USG) and Contractor Support Services (CSS) engineering personnel to ensure program execution within the approved budget, schedule, and performance.
+ Collaborate with a Sigma team of P-8A-experienced pilots / engineers to combine their aviator input with external agencies (including OEM, engineering, activities, test pilots, Fleet introduction representative and deployed squadrons) in guiding process development efforts to enhance the operational capability of the weapons platform.
+ Coordinate with other USG entities to determine Government testing, validation and verification requirements throughout engineering change proposals (ECP) and configurations management (CM).
+ Possess a solid understanding of P-8A operational systems, capabilities, and missions.
+ Understanding of and ability to assist troubleshoot the P-8A Mission Systems and Combat Systems when malfunctions and failures are reported by Fleet customers.
+ Support responsive troubleshooting and provide engineering assistance to rapid return of the systems to fully functional status.
+ Provide engineering to support logistics personnel.
Salary Range: $120,000- $140,000 annually.
