• Payroll Analyst

    Description

    We need a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations across a multi-entity, multi-state environment. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of payroll systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of payroll systems, particularly Oracle HCM, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to employees and internal stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Accurately process and update payroll data in Oracle HCM for multiple entities across 32 associations.

     

    Conduct payroll data audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

     

    Validate payroll outputs and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with HR and finance teams.

     

    Process regulatory payroll payments, including garnishments and payroll taxes.

     

    Review and reconcile payroll inputs from various internal sources.

     

    Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, including tax setup, direct deposit, and timesheet issues.

     

    Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports (e.g., W-2, 941, United Way, Census).

     

    Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance.

     

    Collaborate with HR representatives and external vendors to support payroll operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

    •Bachelor’s in accounting / business degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

    •Preferred certifications: FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
