Description

This company is a not-for-profit farm organization whose goal is to be a voice for farmers and rural people across the state of NC. They have many different offerings ranging from various insurance services to serving as a legislative advocate for their members at the local, state, national and international levels.

This is the asset management team. They are responsible for the shipping, receiving and tracking of devices within the organization. This team is about 9 total people, 4 field techs and 5 in the office. The actual techs in the office are only 2 individuals (right now 1).

The primary responsibility of the position will be to act as the tier 3 escalation point for the help desk team. The typical incidents they will see are a lot of time troubleshooting Windows operating system, reinstalling a driver on printer, PC software not working, they have a lot of security software too they may work on from time to time. They also image and set up new laptops and devices to go to shipping and be sent out to the field techs and the surrounding offices. They will do a lot of software troubleshooting, imaging, and hands on hardware repair.

This role will be onsite Monday to Friday 8-5pm.

6 month contract to hire, $50-60k hire on salary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
