Position Summary:
The Manager of Quality Learning & Development is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide learning strategies that support Quality & Compliance excellence, while simultaneously building a strong internal talent pipeline through rotational and early career development. This role partners cross-functionally with all areas of the business to ensure compliance with global regulations through effective training and on-boarding programs to support the Quality Organization processes and procedures. This position is key in supporting the growth and competencies of our quality professionals, and all colleagues that support quality and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning and Development:
+ Design and implement functional learning and development strategies to meet Quality & Compliance needs for all levels of employees (operators, Quality Inspectors, to Engineers and Leader roles)
+ Partner closely with Subject Matter Experts to develop training that is effective and sustainable for continuous learning.
+ Develop a Quality Onboarding program for all employees throughout the organization to ensure that Quality and Safety is top of mind for our patients.
+ Develop and lead career pathways and professional development initiatives for Quality professionals.
+ Measure training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement strategies.
+ Support the creation and sustainability of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) within Quality functions from a learning and development perspective.
Rotational Program / Early Talent Development:
+ Design, execute, and scale rotational and early career programs aligned with organizational workforce planning needs.
+ Collaborate closely with managers and leaders the rotationals are supporting.
+ Build strong university relations and manage recruitment pipelines to attract top talent.
+ Lead coaching and mentorship frameworks to support professional growth of early career employees.
+ Define and track success metrics, including performance tracking, talent development, and program ROI.
+ Develop competency maps for rotational roles to ensure meaningful development and contribution.
+ Oversee cross-functional project assignments and exposure opportunities to accelerate learning.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, Quality or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness.
+ Strong knowledge of Quality and Regulatory Compliance environments.
+ Experience building or managing rotational or early talent programs.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
+ Experience with training frameworks, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
Preferred:
+ Master's degree in a relevant field.
+ Certifications in LEAN, Six Sigma, or Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
+ Prior experience in the medical device or highly regulated industry.
