    + Direct teaching of assigned students.

    + Administer and analyze formative assessments to monitor student progress and plan instructional shifts to increase achievement and success for all students.

    + Design appropriate curriculum, instructional, and assessment accommodations to support academic success for a diverse group of students including both struggling and advanced learners.

    + Incorporate effective and innovative uses of technology to support teaching, learning and collaboration.

    + Maintain regular parent communication (electronically, face-to-face and conferences).

    + Ability to maintain appropriate student supervision in the physical education setting to ensure student have safe and orderly environment in which to learn.

    + Knowledge of child growth and development in relation to movement competency and wellness.

    + Commit to continuous professional learning and ongoing reflection on effectiveness of teaching practice and implemented curricula for all students.

    Expected Salary:

    Commensurate with education & experience.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A Master’s degree; candidates with Bachelor’s degree will be considered, but will be required to obtain a Master’s degree within three years of hire.

    + Florida Temporary or Professional teaching certification in one or more of the following:

    + Physical Education

    + Health

    + Health Education

    + Biology

    + Secondary Science

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + FDLE Background check

    Preferred Qualifications:

    3+ years of K-12 teaching experience
