Your Role: Construction AI Specialist

As a Construction AI Specialist at Fountain Services, you will be responsible for the company-wide implementation and optimization of artificial intelligence tools to improve project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall operational efficiency. This position will work closely with both project management and field operations teams to integrate AI-driven insights into real-time decision-making and construction workflows.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Spindale, NC.

Key Responsibilities

+ Implement and manage AI tools to enhance project scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting

+ Analyze production specifications and construction data to identify optimization opportunities using AI platforms

+ Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to apply AI solutions that improve accuracy, reduce inefficiencies, and support delivery timelines

+ Develop and maintain AI-generated trackers, dashboards, and data visualizations

+ Monitor and adjust project schedules based on predictive analytics and real-time conditions

+ Support cross-departmental adoption of AI technologies through training and documentation

+ Research, test, and recommend emerging AI applications and software for construction environments

+ Serve as liaison between leadership, project teams, and technical software providers

Minimum Requirements

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD or other CAD software

+ Familiarity with construction operations and project controls

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

+ Must live within 30 minutes of Spindale, NC

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous exposure to AI implementation in construction or similar industries

+ Experience working in cross-functional project teams

+ Background in data analytics, machine learning, or operations research

+ Relevant certifications in construction management, data analytics, or software platforms
