As an Enterprise Sales Professional - Executive Director you will lead our enterprise efforts and secure new partnerships for our tax-smart investment platform. You will be a team player who brings energy, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to help grow our firm and positively impact the advisors we serve. This growth-oriented role is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the continued success of 55ip.
Job responsibilities:
+ Source new leads and cultivate opportunities within wealth management channels, including Broker-Dealers, Wire houses, custodians, and Turnkey Asset Management Programs (TAMPS) by building relationships with key decision-makers
+ Partner with National Accounts functions across strategic partners, including JPM, to create shared opportunities and drive mutual success.
+ Identify additional opportunities within existing enterprise relationships
+ Drive the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiations to close
+ Collaborate with product consulting, technology, and operations teams to identify prospect-specific scope and pricing
+ Coordinate with project management, implementation, and relationship management teams to ensure successful rollouts
+ Work with product and marketing teams on market research to identify and develop target prospects and competitive intelligence
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably selling to wealth management platforms
+ Previous experience as a sales engineer, national accounts, or related position is a plus
+ Ability to drive sales across multiple channels
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to cultivate opportunities and contribute to successful rollouts
+ Strong understanding of tech stack and workflow at the enterprise and advisor level
+ Understanding of tax management, tax overlay, and direct indexing
+ Trusted, senior contact at key firms within our target market (e.g., BDs, RIAs, Wires, and TAMPs)
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
+ Successfully sold wealth/financial technology and investment solutions across the wealth management landscape (Asset Managers, Broker-Dealers, Platforms/TAMPs, RIA Aggregators).
+ Deep knowledge of the wealth management marketplace, including trends and technology, as well as practice and portfolio management solutions
+ Exposure to or experience working directly with products/capabilities that integrate into advisors' technical/operational workflows.
+ Strong familiarity with investment products and services, model portfolios, tax management, and/or knowledge of ETFs is a plus
+ Ability to thrive in a highly demanding, entrepreneurial environment
+ Key contacts at asset managers, model providers, and strategists are a plus
