Function of Position:
Provide clerical support for the front desk, especially during peak recruitment times for EOP pre-freshman bridge programs.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Provide clerical support for the front desk by:
+ answering the phones
+ greeting and checking in students for appointments
+ calling/texting students for appointment reminders
+ scheduling appointments
+ assist with mailings and filing
+ retrieve mail from the mailroom
+ Maintain department Instagram page by uploading content approved by the EOP director.
+ Draft flyers for special events and Instagram postings.
+ Sanitize and organize workstations in lobby area.
+ Restock supplies.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
+ Must have successfully completed at least one semester as a full-time matriculated student.
+ Must be in Good Academic Standing with an overall GPA of C or better.
+ Must have a clear understanding of EOP program
+ Must maintain confidentiality of any and all student related files/documents/conversations
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Intermediate or advance knowledge of managing social media accounts.
+ Familiarity of Banner, MyMCC, Brightspace and Starfish.
+ Skilled in Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Hours per week: 1-20 hours/week
