    As a Sr. Software Test Engineer, you will analyze software under test and build, maintain an automated test infrastructure for a multi-platform product that will be used to validate all aspects of the product operation. You will serve as team leader by formulating, contribute to, and direct task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for research, prototype, and proof-of-concept test automation activities. You will also direct and participate in all aspects of testing tasks including test plan, design, test data management, test automation architecture and business use cases. You would help Provide guidance to staff on complex assignments and mentors on new test engineering technologies.

    Responsibilities

    + Act as primary practitioner coach on the team to grow the capabilities of other engineers on the team.

    + Build and maintain an automated test infrastructure for a multi-platform product that will be used to validate all aspects of the product operation.

    + Interpret and report testing results and encourages and trains others on the value of quality in every phase of the development process.

    + Establishes and teaches others to create processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.

    + Functions as a leader in the developer community and performs demo, knowledge sharing sessions.

    + Write technical blogs in Testing and be active in Open Source Community.

    Education & Experience

    + Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

    + 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test (SET) or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

    + Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

    Additional Qualifications

    + Knowledge of automated testing strategies

    + Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber BBD

    + Scripting with programing languages - Java, JavaScript, Python

    + Demonstrating knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices

    + Ability to perform load and stress testing on applications and services and identify key metrics

    + Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to acts as a resource to colleagues with less experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with Automated testing strategies, including Test Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

    + Experience deploying advanced Programming and Cloud computing concepts, Software Architecture and Design Patterns

    + Programming experience in object-oriented languages or scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Perl, and SQL), distributed systems and Unix-based systems

    + Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)

    + Previous experience in PBM / health care industry

    Physical Demands

    + Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to “move or traverse”

    + Must be able to constantly operate a computer and/or other office productivity equipment

    + Must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas. Must be able to exchange accurate information

    Potential pay for this position ranges from $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 based on experience and skills.
