    Location/Division Specific Information **:**

     

    This (Hybrid) position is located in **Pittsburgh, PA** supporting the Customer Channels Group (CCG) Finance team.

    How you will make an impact:

    The Business Analyst III provides analytical, reporting, and strategy support to the Global Profitability Improvement (GPI) team. They will gain exposure to upper management and gain experience with numerous corporate functions and shared services. They will become an integral member of the team and assist in making strategic business decisions and drive additional profitability for the company! This position provides a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter to demonstrate their ability to contribute to the Customer Channel Group.

    What you will do:

    + Maintain and update ABM (Activity Based Management) model assumptions and calculations through continuous coordination with business partners and IT

    + Provide technical expertise & business insight support across the GPI team

    + Support the monthly close tasks for the North American CCG ABM model

    + Drive and support ABM Training for 120+ end-users

    + Perform large volume data analysis and leverage strong business acuity to translate results to key decision makers

    + Maintain, Improve, and provide training on P&L and Proforma templates used by Finance and Operations

    + Drive profitability and productivity gains for the CCG business by partnering with multiple business functions to discuss recent business performance, evaluate analytical capabilities, provide solutions and/or make recommendations to support the business

    + Support Finance partners & Account owners with contractual compliance standard processes.

    + Perform other duties and project support as assigned

    How you will get here:

    Education

    + Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a Finance field

    Experience

    + 5+ years of prior work experience

    + Prior experience modeling and querying large data sets

    + Technical experience with data applications and analytics

    + IT project management and system upgrade experience

    + Solid understanding of a P&Ls structure and components

    + Preferred prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    + Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial analysis, and operational modeling skills. Experience with activity-based management concepts or similar financial modeling preferred.

    + Ability to read and understand technical documentation and SOPs

    + Experience with relational databases and Data Querying Tools such as SQL, Cognos, Power BI, Low-code, or relevant toolset

    + Sophisticated MS Excel skills are required; Experience with other relevant financial systems and applications is highly valued.

    + Experienced in process automation using queries, stored procedures, and job scheduling

    + Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work

    + Organized multitasker: you prioritize your workload, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate analysis and recommendations in concise informative manner

    + Data management experience and the ability to manage large sets of data and accurate reports

    + Strong team building skills and the shown ability to work with a diverse group of people even if geographically dispersed

    + Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done

    + Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)

    Travel Requirements

    + Less than 5% domestic/international travel required
