Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Fremont, CA.
This role will be part of Azuga's fast-paced and growing international SaaS company. This individual will be responsible for the month-end close journal entries, intercompany transactions, leading accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and sales tax in Avalara system. Additional responsibilities include assisting with annual audits and tax preparation. This position requires strong accounting knowledge of month end process. This role requires you to be comfortable working in a high-growth environment and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Working knowledge of NetSuite is preferred.
* This role is a HYBRID schedule in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ Azuga HQ in Fremont, CA. *
Pay Range: $68,000.00 - $113,000.00
Responsibilities
+ Assist with month-end close process that includes prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, accruals and other areas as needed
+ Leads accounts payable and trouble shooting issues with vendors
+ Be familiar with intercompany transactions between parent and subsidiaries
+ Manage and review the General Ledger for our foreign subsidiary
+ Assist with sales tax information and requests from our Avalara system
+ Assist with compliance filing from 1099, Sales/Use Tax and ect.
+ Review, code, obtain approval, and record daily A/P invoices
+ Assist with daily cash receipts from depositing checks, to researching credit card charges and chargebacks
+ Administrative tasks in office and ad hoc projects from parent company
Minimum Qualifications
+ Must have a BS degree in Business
+ 3 - 5 years of accounting experience in hi-tech and international environment
+ Proficiency in Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Tables, Sumif)
+ Working knowledge of Netsuite, SAP, and Avalara would be a plus
