Job Description:

Reporting into the MT Supply Chain organization, the leader will act as a single point of accountability for defining strategy, driving alignment, shaping innovation, and managing business process alignment for their function. They will be a part of the extended leadership team and design governance councils to ensure operational integration between business operations and program needs.

The role will establish a network of functional authorities within their sub-function domain that will lead the business process definition, driving organizational alignment on key decisions, as well as ensuring adoption of those decisions and new business processes. Additionally, the BPO represents their functional area in governance forums to ensure process integrity, drive decisions, act as key change champion, and collaborate with JJT and the Global Product Owner to define, validate, and implement solutions to enable the designed blueprint.
The leader will be an expert within their functional space and strive to enable, standardize, and innovate core business process definitions to meet critical business needs. This will be enabled by partnering across the key stakeholder groups to gain a deep understanding of as-is business requirements, benchmarking, continuous improvement, and consistent process documentation, through a standardized blueprinting process.
Key Role Responsibilities
+ Work with enterprise, regions and franchises leadership to define and align on required MT TranSCend business capabilities to drive value realization
+ Act as primary Change Champion with MedTech organizations and leadership forums driving Procure to Pay, including Source, Plan (Buyer/Planner) and Accounts Payable. Drive adoption of industry standard methodologies and lead harmonization of business processes across franchises
+ Responsible for the Global Business Process Design for Procure to Pay. Ensure key business processes and capabilities are designed and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope. Ensure successful adoption of solutions delivered by MedTech TranSCend
+ Understand, translate, and communicate Product to Pay strategies throughout Supply Chain functions (Global, Regional), as required. Ensure alignment with MedTech TranSCend objectives, scope, and timeline.
+ Support Product to Pay strategy and execution aspects of annual BP (including CIP’s), Long Range Financial Plan (LRFP), Projects and PMO.
+ Partner with the Global Product Owner to ensure capability design, build, validation, deployment, and steady-state support. Ensure ongoing integrity of global template.
+ Support issue resolution and processes improvements on ongoing operations related to Procure to Pay, including the usage of diagnostic tools to identify and improve processes
+ Establish common reporting, E2E metrics and drive improvement based on baseline
+ Exercise a high degree of business judgment and sound reasoning in all activities including handling partner concerns of issues and business risks, developing solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
Required Skills
+ Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable
+ Requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, or large transformation programs.
+ Requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in Procure to Pay processes
+ Requires a minimum of 3 years of business process design, engineering, or optimization.
+ Requires strong knowledge of MedTech Supply Chain
+ Expert knowledge of Procure to Pay business processes/requirements required
+ Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result
+ Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of collaborators
+ Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.) is helpful
+ Ability to effectively lead and govern functional decision-making bodies required
+ Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates required
+ Experience managing to project timelines and achievements in complex business environments required
+ Skilled at engaging and building relationships with senior business collaborators required
