    We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Engineer to join our New Product Development (NPD) team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in medical/ catheter manufacturing and product transfers, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and analytical skills. You will play a pivotal role in driving projects from initial concept through to final product, ensuring alignment with our high standards of quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Work in the development of new products by applying manufacturing skills, development of process instructions

    + Develop/create preliminary prototype tools, jigs, fixtures and semi-automation to facilitate the assembly process to increase yield, reduce touch time.

    + Participate with product transfer process, ensuring efficient transition from development to commercial manufacturing.

    + Conduct equipment validations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

    + Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges throughout the development cycle.

    + Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, validation protocols, and project reports.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, share insights, and drive projects to successful completion.

    + Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed, perform root cause analysis, engineering analysis on new assembly processes.

    + Assist project lead on project deliverable while operating with minimum supervision while promoting a team-oriented culture.

    + Conduct regular evaluations of manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement related to efficiency, quality, safety, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

    + 4-6 years of experience in medical manufacturing and product transfer within the electrophysiology or medical device industry.

    + Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, lean manufacturing preferably in medical device industry

    + Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

    + Experience in equipment validations and quality assurance processes.

    + Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to assess complex situations.

    + Proficiency in pre-sketch design and prototype development techniques.

    + Excellent documentation and communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

    + Strong oral and written communication skills in English, (Spanish considered a plus)
