Job Skills / Requirements

Seasonal Position- April to October

Saturdays and Wednesdays

5pm-10pm

$17/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

+ Monitoring and controlling access at entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry.

+ Ensuring orderly movement of attendees, preventing overcrowding, and managing crowd behavior.

+ Using cameras and other equipment to monitor the venue for any suspicious activities.

+ Being prepared to respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security threats.

+ Conduct regular patrols of the venue to detect and address potential security issues.

+ Working with law enforcement and other emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.

+ Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.

+ Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.

+ Must be customer service oriented, greeting attendees with a smile and making people feel welcome and safe.

Skills and Qualifications

+ Observation Skills: Keen attention to detail to identify potential threats.

+ Communication: Clear and effective communication with team members and attendees.

+ Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and respond quickly to incidents.

+ Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and decision-making in high-stress situations.

+ Training: Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.

Tools and Equipment

+ Metal Detectors: For screening attendees at entry points.

+ Surveillance Cameras: To monitor the venue.

+ Radios: For communication among security staff.

+ First Aid Kits: To provide immediate medical assistance if needed.

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses CPR/First Aid/AED Tennessee Unarmed Security License
