Job Summary
Post-sales position in which predominant job responsibilities occur after the sale of the company’s product to the client. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, and client training. Provides technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products. Involved in customer installation requirements and supporting customer projects. Ensures that client’s needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification. Manage NetApp systems to provide optimal performance and availability. Engage with NetApp sales staff to provide feedback on customer environment and opportunities to address requirements with NetApp solutions. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours) and customer satisfaction. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.

Job Requirements
+ TS/SCI Clearance required
+ Security+ and NCDA Certifications Required
+ Onsite and remote subject matter expert with NetApp, IT infrastructure, and applications
+ NetApp system support including, recommendations, installations, upgrades, onsite service, repair and troubleshooting, engineering support, and parts returns
+ NetApp system management including monitoring and diagnostics; storage administration and management; proactive service management to include software and hardware release planning and bug analyses; storage capacity case trend analysis, supporting de-duplication and thin provisioning; and management of local and remote mirrors and disk to disk backups.
+ NAS and SAN storage system planning and engineering to include assisting with security planning and execution with software patch analysis and field alerts. Advising onsite customer technical points of contact on recommended impacts before patch deployment. Storage system planning and engineering also includes installation of SAN upgrades and NetApp new technology upgrades, both hardware and software.
+ Process and product maintenance reporting for future requirements, upgrades and planning.
+ Analysis of diagnostic data for potential and reported problems with NetApp hardware on a weekly basis.
+ Case trend analysis for future storage requirements and planning.
+ Support and assistance to Windows and UNIX Teams using NetApp storage with various applications and services.
+ Appliance usage, storage capacity, interface, and data access and product maintenance reporting.
+ Understand and translate customer business requirements into technical solutions
+ Follow appropriate escalation guidelines, as required, during customer engagements
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills
+ Ensures all assigned work tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner
Education and Experience
+ Possess a TS/SCI Clearance
+ Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 147,900 - 220,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
