**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Department:** Facilities
**Reports To:** Technical Manager / Supervisor
**Job Type:** Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance across the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational environment. This role covers general building systems, equipment, lighting, and basic repairs to support smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and general facility systems.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and building infrastructure.
+ Complete preventative maintenance tasks on a regular schedule (daily, weekly, monthly).
+ Support exhibit setups, teardown, and shipping/receiving duties as needed.
+ Maintain and repair walls, fixtures, furniture, and other interior elements.
+ Replace bulbs, lamps, and minor tech equipment (projectors, displays).
+ Respond to work orders and repair requests in a timely manner.
+ Assist with training procedures and safety protocols.
+ Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA and safety standards.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 2+ years of general maintenance or building operations experience.
+ Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry preferred.
+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
+ Comfortable working in fast-paced, guest-facing environments.
+ Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
+ Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, climbing, etc.).
+ Comfortable working at heights and in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Work Environment:
+ Exposure to loud noises, temperature changes, and potentially hazardous materials.
+ Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods during a shift.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
+ Basic knowledge of AV systems, control devices, or low-voltage wiring.
+ Experience with facilities in entertainment, hospitality, or theme park settings.
+ Familiarity with work order systems and safety compliance standards.
