Major/Essential Functions:
+ Design and develop didactic lectures in Adolescent Medicine in alignment with ACGME Pediatric Residency Program requirements
+ Coordinate with the Pediatric Residency Program Director to align teaching with curriculum objectives and milestones
+ Update lectures annually to reflect current clinical guidelines and best practices
+ Participate in annual curriculum review and feedback sessions, as requested
+ Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
+ Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
+ Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
+ Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
+ Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
+ Upholds and promotes the values-based culture of TTUHSC El Paso
+ Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications:
+ M.D. or D.O. degree, or foreign equivalent
+ Texas medical license, or eligibility for medical licensure in Texas
+ Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in pediatrics
+ Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in adolescent medicine
+ Board Certified in Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics
