Role Overview
**Sodexo Energy & Resource** is seeking a **Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager I** for an **Oil & Gas client in Carlsbad, NM** to maximize the value of the client’s assets and achieve their operational and financial goals. What You'll Do
+ Lead and coordinate maintenance services, ensuring adherence to contract obligations, quality standards, and client expectations, while managing financial goals, cost control, and performance metrics.
+ Foster strong customer relationships and collaboration with facility team leaders to align operational and strategic goals, driving continuous improvement and a proactive service culture.
+ Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of skilled personnel, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, health, safety, and legislative requirements.
+ Manage sub-contractors, monitor performance, and ensure SLAs, KPIs, and contractual agreements are met, while providing leadership, coaching, and guidance to ensure operational excellence.
+ Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, oversee reporting standards, and ensure profitable and cost-effective asset management while identifying and implementing process improvements.

What You Bring
+ a proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments
+ strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management
+ demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding
+ exceptional customer service, relationship building, and communication skills
+ strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
