Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a **General Manager 3, Food** to lead our dining operations at **Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home** , a skilled care and rehabilitation facility serving approximately **400 residents** . This role requires a **strong, communicative leader** with the ability to **develop and grow a team** while ensuring high-quality food service.

What You'll Do

+ Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

+ Lead and manage a team of four managers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

+ Collaborate with the District Manager to drive operational success and meet business goals.

+ Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in skilled care food service.

+ Implement Sodexo systems and programs.

+ Continuously evaluate service to ensure resident and client satisfaction.

+ Drive employee engagement and resident satisfaction through strong leadership skills.

+ Integrate fully within our client's organization and be a trusted advisor with a customer service focus.

+ Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.

+ Create a positive environment andensure Sodexo Standards are met.

What You Bring

+ Three or more years prior GM/Director level food service management experience;

+ Prior food service management experience in a skilled care or healthcare environment;

+ Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to build and develop teams;

+ Knowledge of dietary regulations and best practices in senior care dining;

+ A dietary manager certification (CDM) is plus;

+ A strong financial acumen;

+ A strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

+ A work history demonstrating strong leadership and hospitality skills with the ability to work collaboratively;

+ The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

+ Knowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards;

+ The ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;

+ Working knowledge of Food Management Systems, and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
