Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HEALTH SYSTEMS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D0337000 and is part of the 109TH AW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As an an HEALTH SYSTEMS SPECIALIST you will plan, organize and implement unit programs, policies, and procedures in the absence of the full time commander, and provides direction and continuity of operations. It is also responsible for the supervision of all assigned full time employees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must meet at least 1 year of specialized experience of progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field. This work may have been performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. Work must have involved a close working relationship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following: Missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems; Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups; and Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement. Education Education requirements: A Graduate Degree in Health Administration, Health Care Administration (or equivalent), Health Care Management, Health Management and Policy, Health Services Administration (or equivalent), Hospital Administration (or equivalent), Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Information Systems Management, or other business-related equivalent. You must provide official transcripts as documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
