The role** **you** **’ll** **contribute** **:

The Director of Strategic Program Management is responsible for developing and leading comprehensive methods to direct the execution of multiple and interrelated programs and top initiatives required for the achievement of Adventist Health System's strategic vision. This critical role is accountable for system-wide program oversight, prioritized escalation, timeline visibility and knowledge transfer. Programs and initiatives may include, but are not limited to, market and volume growth strategies, financial savings targets, large-scale transformations, technical implementations and mission integration and fulfillment. The director must collaborate with executives and leaders across all corporate functions and operational divisions to facilitate, coordinate and implement the portfolio of strategic initiatives that have been prioritized by the Cabinet and senior executives. Goals are accomplished by serving as the functional "chief of staff" to the Chief Strategy Officer, and, to a lesser extent, the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer and the Cabinet functioning as an entity. This individual must have the mental agility to be both a strategic thinker and a tactical leader, capable of understanding and communicating alignment of initiatives to the Vision as well as project objectives, value propositions and resource requirements

The value** **you’ll** **bring to the team:

+ Responsible for program leadership on behalf of the Regional Executive Committee (REC), working closely with the Executive Sponsors and project teams of strategic initiatives, and operational leaders in the region, division and AHS.

+ Ensures project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and timeframeestablished by REC and management committees. Develops and presents comprehensive and strategic business value propositions and plans to support the strategic initiatives identified by the Cabinet and senior executives.

+ Manages agendas by collecting, prioritizing and completing follow-up activities related to agenda items by coordinating and communicating with senior executives and other leaders. Manages the master calendar to ensure that strategic topics are brought for review in alignment with project timelines.

+ Serves as an active business partner with the team of executives reporting to the Regional CEO in order to achieve the regional imperatives. Represents the CEO in select meetings and collect information from meetings, briefing the CSO, as needed.

**Minimum qualifications** :

+ Master’s degree in a healthcare related field within a year upon hire or successful completion of AdventHealth Residency Program
