**Shift** : days

**The role you’ll contribute:** Responsible for day-to-day operation of sterile processing area. Works closely with SPD Supervisor. Maintains accepted standards for instrument processing.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

+ Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize, and store procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic technique, under direct supervision.

+ Complete requests to dispense equipment and supplies in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory.

+ Complete appropriate documentation records prior to sterilization. Read and initial autoclave graph to verify appropriate sterilization cycle and provide required records for inspection.

+ Assist in the orientation of new employees to each work assignment area and overall department operation.

+ Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** _(_ _Taleo)_

+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Current registration as CRCST within 18 months of hire date
