Job Description Summary
Function: Basic English is required and 2 years Janitorial experience. The custodian candidate must have good attendance, display high level of professionalism, adhere to site safety EHS compliance trainings as well as CWS Compliance safety trainings, responsible and being able to perform without assistance, perform general cleaning task, able to lift up to 25 pounds when emptying trash/ recycle materials , as well as disposal, dusting, carpet vacuuming, floor sweeping and moping, able to operate walk behind floor scrubbers, perform tasks taking all necessary caution and safety first steps as well as being able to report deficiencies.
Job Description
MONDAY - FRIDAY 7am - 12pm
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- 7am - 12pm, if for some reason you are not able to work on a specific date you must let your immediate Supervisor know 4 hours prior
- Adhere to daily assignment or any special tenant instructions.
- Check for cleanliness bathrooms, employees breakroom, kitchen, conference rooms, Main Lobby, employees side entry, Loft, Outdoor patio areas, (Labs are excluded and employee should not enter these areas).
- Run dishwasher first thing in the morning this is done twice or three times per day ensure one dishwasher is empty and ready to be used prior to leaving re-stock hand soap, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and sponges.
- Offices areas; dust horizontal surfaces, wipe down desk if desk surface is empty, vacuum carpet, dust windowsills, dust wall fixtures and vacuum upholstered furniture surfaces twice a month report any stains on carpet and seats
- Common areas; Hard surfaces areas, sweep and mop, remove scuff marks, dust or mop vinyl baseboards once per week
- Phone Booths; clean and disinfect all phone booths
- General Areas; Empty trash cans as needed, Vacuums or sweep any areas as needed including loft areas, straighten up huddle room, wipe down tables, clean white boards as needed, reset chairs, follow On Wednesday ONLY. Meeting Room Maintenance utilizing Meeting Room Maintenance Checklist.
