PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Drive System Design Engineer – SPRINT** to support our industry-leading aviation client in **Fort Worth, Texas** . In this high-impact role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and refining the complex drive system components that make next-generation aircraft possible.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and improve 2D and 3D technical design data for drive system components using **CATIA v5/v6 or 3DX**

+ Generate detailed, assembly, and installation designs for gears, shafts, housings, bearings, and sub-systems

+ Support **manufacturing, prototyping, and testing** by interpreting engineering data and suggesting design improvements

+ Utilize **PLM software** such as ENOVIA to manage and track product lifecycle documentation

+ Collaborate across engineering and production teams throughout all phases of the program lifecycle

+ Apply creative thinking and strong analytical skills to advance drive system technologies

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related discipline with applicable experience)

+ Minimum **5 years of aircraft component design experience** , including 2D/3D modeling and specification development

+ Proficient in **CATIA v5/v6 or 3DX** for mechanical design

+ Experience with **PLM tools** such as ENOVIA

+ Strong skills in **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in **precision manufacturing environments** involving machining, heat treatment, or related processes

+ Familiarity with **rapid prototyping, testing, and validation** of mechanical components

**Pay Details:** $40.00 to $75.00 per hour
