Netchannels is looking to hire an Industry Analyst Relations Manager for our client: Google Cloud. This a FTE position of Netchannels, long term.

Description

The Analyst Relations Manager will be responsible for driving an industry-leading Analyst Relations (AR) program for Google Cloud strategy, solutions and partnerships. Tier 1 analyst firms are: Gartner, Forrester, IDC

Maintain positive ongoing relationships. with industry analysts across a variety of firms in support of Google Cloud solutions. This person will be responsible for identifying the right analysts and sharing information, fostering relationships, gathering market insights, and shaping perceptions among the community of Google Cloud's key industry analysts.

Responsibilities

+ Build strong relationships with influential analysts and executive spokespeople

+ Serve an an internal resource to share marketplace insights regarding competitors, market trends, and new technologies.

+ Review, summarize, and track research for internal stakeholders.

+ Provide insight back to the management team and other key internal partners on analyst feedback, research coverage, information gathered from industry conferences.

+ Be a strong driver in shaping and influencing analyst research agenda

+ Work with product marketing to deliver quality and compelling information to the industry analyst community through an ongoing cadence of briefings, inquiries, and other engagements.

+ Prepare, write, and edit analyst presentations and materials

+ Respond to request for information (MQ, Waves, Marketspace)

+ Secure analyst quotes for press releases, blogs, and other marketing materials

+ Participate in and coordinate analyst interaction at conferences and other trade events

+ Prepare briefing books prior to meetings

Requirements

+ Analyst Relations experience in high technology is a must

+ Knowledge and expertise in answering evaluations such as MQ, Wave, Marketscape…

+ Comfortable communicating at the executive level

+ Familiar with Briefings, Inquiries, Round Tables and other AR engagements

+ Excellent program management skills to manage the process of multiple evaluations at once

+ Understand the type of questions to ask during evaluations and know where to get the answers

+ AR expertise leading to an immediate impact without training.

+ See opportunities and are a “glass-half full” type of person who is keenly focused on achieving results

+ Knowledge of ARchitect is a plus

Ideal candidate

Someone with AR experience who can manage combine strategy and execution. Someone who can manage projects and analyst evaluations end-to-end with minimal hand holding; however, this person must also be diligent with the operational support as well including briefing sheets, prep with executives, managing target lists and schedules/invites etc.

Minimum Qualifications

+ You have 7+ years in Analyst Relations (preferred) with a technology focus

+ You are comfortable developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations

+ You have experience pulling together evaluations

+ You have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and handle change in real time

+ You have the ability to move quickly - assess the situation, aggregate data, make a decision and move.
