    Overview

     

    We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Vice President of Audience Strategy to lead the development and orchestration of audience-centric strategies across paid and owned media, with a strong foundation in CRM, data activation, and performance optimization.

     

    In this role, you’ll architect full-funnel audience strategies that power personalized connected customer experiences—from acquisition to engagement and retention—across programmatic, social, search, email, SMS, push, and more. You will bring together the art of messaging with the science of segmentation, working cross-functionally with channel, creative, data, and tech teams to ensure audience design drives measurable business impact.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership

    + Lead the vision, development, and execution of holistic audience strategies across paid and owned channels (e.g., programmatic, social, email, SMS, push, web personalization, etc.)

    + Define and evolve segmentation frameworks, journey mapping, and activation strategies that align with client/customer goals

    + Act as a senior strategic lead across key accounts, guiding cross-channel media and CRM activation

    + Facilitate client workshops with senior leaders that translate abstract concepts into actionable plans. Guiding stakeholders to think audience-first rather than channel-first

    Cross-Channel and Cross-Functional Leadership

    + Align CRM and paid efforts to drive coordinated media spend, retargeting, and lookalike strategies

    + Define and oversee audience governance across paid platforms, ensuring clean handoffs and efficient data usage

    + Partner with media planners and activation teams to bring audience strategies to life across platforms (Meta, Google, DSPs, CTV, etc.)

    + Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to define audience measurement strategies, LTV modeling, and cohort performance tracking

    Leadership & Collaboration

    + Lead and mentor a high-performing team of strategists across audience planning, lifecycle, and channel strategy

    + Serve as a trusted partner to senior clients, influencing their customer strategy roadmaps and data-driven investments

    + Drive integration across creative, analytics, media, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution

    + Build relationships with platform partners (Meta, Google, Salesforce, etc.) to gain early access to beta features or roadmaps

    + Regularly review emerging trends in privacy, identity, data clean rooms, CDPs, AI/ML-based segmentation, and channel innovation and develop POV's to educate the organization

    Qualifications

    + 10–15+ years of experience in audience strategy, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or integrated media strategy roles

    + Deep understanding of both paid media targeting and CRM/lifecycle strategies

    + Demonstrated experience leading full-funnel strategies across acquisition, engagement, and retention

    + Strong familiarity with ESPs, CDPs, DMPs, DSPs, and identity solutions

    + Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and senior-level client engagement

    + Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into strategic

    Compensation Range: $156,560 - $246,330/yearly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
