Successful members of the Analytics team at Zenith have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, a fresh perspective, don’t shy away from a challenge and are always hungry to learn.
Analysts are a core part of our team, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter decisions for our clients. You’ll work with analytics teammates, engineers, strategists, and media planners to dig into performance data, connect the dots, and craft compelling stories that bring results to life.
This entry-level position supports a major sporting goods retailer. You'll analyze campaign performance across a wide range of media—from streaming and social to ice rinks and even blimps—helping our teams optimize media and maximize impact.
We’re looking for someone with sharp analytical skills, curiosity, and a desire to grow. Our analysts are more than number crunchers—they’re detectives driven to uncover the “why” behind every trend, and eager to build the skills to thrive in today’s fast-moving media landscape.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze media performance across multiple channels and identify actionable insights.
+ Calculate and compare KPIs using dashboards, Excel and other tools to support business reporting.
+ Write basic SQL queries to extract data from internal databases.
+ Produce campaign performance updates, hindsight reports and ad-hoc analysis.
+ Summarize key findings and trends through clear and concise reports and presentations.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to identify performance drivers and inform recommendations.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in quantitative, marketing, or communications-related field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business, Data Science, etc.)
+ 1+ year experience working with data sets using Excel and SQL in an academic, internship or professional capacity.
+ Intermediate to advanced Excel and SQL skills required (pivot tables, IF statements, joins and lookups, etc.)
+ Proficiency visualizing data in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Experience with media metrics or marketing data sources via coursework, internships, or entry-level roles is a plus.
+ Familiarity with BI/dashboard tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio strongly preferred.
+ Exposure to Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Meta Ads Manager or similar platforms is helpful but not required.
+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to QA others’ work as well as your own.

Compensation Range: $54,910 - $83,145 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
