About the Team:
Our Walmart/VIZIO Team is dedicated to building and maintaining robust data engineering platforms that support our business goals. We focus on automation, scalability, and reliability, ensuring seamless integration and performance of resources. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in guiding the evolution of our computing infrastructure and driving continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
+ Drive the operation of scalable and highly available data engineering platforms and pipelines.
+ Spearhead the development of automation frameworks for zero-downtime deployments.
+ Guide the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and secure access mechanisms.
+ Serve as a trusted resource for complex challenges and crisis situations.
+ Collaborate with DevOps and Infra teams to optimize cloud resources and manage cloud spend.
+ Ensure thorough documentation of architectures, processes, and policies.
+ Stay abreast of industry trends to continually improve database reliability strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
+ 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps and/or SRE Engineer.
+ Deep knowledge of AWS and its core technologies.
+ Hands-on experience with distributed computing platforms like Databricks, Hadoop, EMR.
+ Expertise in deployment automation and cloud infrastructure management.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
+ Passion for leveraging modern tools and practices to drive efficiency and reliability.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements.
+ Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field.

Denver, Colorado US-11581:The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00-$198,000.00
Dallas, Texas US-11571:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
