What you'll do...

**About the Team:** Our team is dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in infrastructure management. We focus on building resilient, scalable, and efficient systems that support Walmart's vast operations. As a Senior Systems and Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our platform to the next generation, impacting both our team and the company's goals.

What You’ll Do:

+ Manage and review key SRE metrics

+ Handle on-call responsibilities and incident response

+ Build and maintain large-scale systems in a cloud environment

+ Design and implement complex AWS solutions

+ Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Chef or Puppet

+ Ensure security policies are applied during code development

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide site reliability

What You’ll Bring:

+ 4+ years of proficiency in AWS or Azure

+ 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker

+ Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

+ Expertise in monitoring tools like New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus

+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash

+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or Argo

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

The annual salary range for this position is $88,000.00-$171,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 years’experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.

Option 2: 5 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area. and 1 Year of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration, experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
