This is a full time, hourly position.
Swing Shift. Example schedule: Sun-Tue 1st shift, Wed-Thurs 2nd shift, Fri 3rd shift, OFF Sat-Tues, Wed-Thurs 1st shift, Fri-Sat 2nd, Sun-Tues 3rd, Wed-Thur OFF, etc.... Must have ability to work any shift, overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice as needed.

Position Summary:
The Key Operator is the operator within the Extrusion manufacturing Packaging plant. The Key Operator is responsible for safely operating all Extrusion / Packaging equipment. per-standard operating procedures (SOPs) and following quality procedures. Conduct job activities and manage safe operations within designated areas. A good growth role and succession plan for those desiring to be production supervisors in the future.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.
+ Ensure product quality expectations are met.
+ Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.
+ Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.
+ Work with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.
+ Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.
+ Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues.
+ Required to work overtime as specified by management.
+ Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned.
Work Duties and Required Skills
+ Responsible for operating the field equipment in TVP. Assisting with operations with board operators and supervision.
+ Obtaining field samples
+ Responsible for conducting building walkthroughs and reporting/troubleshooting any conditions or concerns with the operations team on shift.
+ Assist Supervisor with Lock-Out-Tagout activities.
+ Accurate reporting with necessary paperwork and administrative tasks.
+ Notify Lead Person if any out-of-spec quality conditions exist.
+ Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues .
+ Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.
+ At times, overtime will be required.

Required Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED
Desired Experience:
+ 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience with large manufacturing equipment
+ Experience with extrusion and or packaging equipment
+ Experience operating equipment using HMI control systems
On-The-Job Training Requirements:
+ New colleagues will need to undergo on-the-job training to acquire skills and certifications, which will be assessed according to established standards
+ Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
+ Participate in company planner operations training
+ Equipment training may include but not limited to JLP, Forklift, Non-DOT Truck, Reach Lift, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.
ADM requires the successful completion of a background check and medical clearance.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay for this position is expected to be:
