    **Event Security Officer** - Transition

     

    $18.50 an hour

     

    Newark, NJ

     

    PT Event based.

    Responsibilities:

    + Check bags and screen guests to ensure overall safety.

    + Control arena access by verifying tickets and credentials.

    + Manage crowd control issues during events.

    + Provide friendly guest services and direction.

    + Perform other duties as required to ensure safety and security at the venue.

    + Weekend, evening, and occasional holiday shifts required. **Requirements:**

    + Ability to respond effectively during emergency or stressful situations.

    + Must have a flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.

    + Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs, with occasional running or sprinting.

    + Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills for handling customer-related situations.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Verifiable work history.

    + Reliable means of transportation.

    + Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.

    + Must meet state licensing requirements.

    + Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid **NJ State Security SORA License** .
