    Job Summary

    Our Construction Management team is actively seeking a Construction Engineer for work on various infrastructure/rail projects. These positions will grant you great exposure to agencies such as MTA C&D, Metro North Railroad, LIRR, etc.

     

    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.

    + Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.

    + Prepare project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports.

    + Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors.

    + Review contractor invoicing to verify quantities and enter contractor invoices into Client’s online system.

    + Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    QUALIFCATIONS:

    + Bachelors of Construction Management or related field with 2+ years of construction or office engineer experience is required.

    + Previous infrastructure construction experience with MTA or similar rail agency preferred.

    + Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

    + Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

    + Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.

    + High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

    + Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.

    TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $87,800- $131,600 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
