    The Opportunity:

    CACI is seeking an AWS Research Engineer! As an engineer, you will research AWS service security features and architectures to identify security best practices and configurations that address data protection requirements within highly regulated environments. This research informs development of security/data protection solutions and detailed guidance for system developers migrating applications and systems to the cloud.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist with development and recommendation of guidance or measures for cloud-based solutions that ensure compliance with Government security and regulatory requirements such as NIST SP 800-53 security controls and various agency specialized directives and requirements for sensitive data.

    + Meet weekly or as-needed with Govt Task Lead to discuss deliverable and expectations

    + Collaborate with multiple security/compliance, development organizations and AWS SMEs to help formulate guidance for specialized cloud migration efforts.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required

     

    Minimum 2 Years of AWS Cloud experience

     

    Experience with researching or applying security principles and configurations within a cloud environment.

     

    Cloud architecture and design experience in any cloud environment.

     

    Ability to work autonomously

    DoD 8570- M, IAT Level 1 certification is required

    8 years (e.g. B.S. Degree plus 4 yrs) experience in technology research to include evaluating potential vulnerabilities in cyberspace systems, network and vulnerability analysis.

    2 years’ experience working with IA Products, and/or Key Management Products and Solutions.

    2 years of Intelligence Community experience in network and vulnerability analysis.

     

    _Desired:_

     

    Technical writing experience with a security focus.

     

    Strong Communication skills both written and verbal.

     

    Understanding of agency Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) requirements and services
